Look at Trump and his donors. The stole billions of PPE dollars. Jared circumvented the normal HHS and CDC purchasing agents to get deliveries of free PPE redirected to other companies and nobody paid but Uncle Sam. That’s why it took so long to get PPE delivered to hospitals.
They deserve it. When the community (the government) helps in times of trouble (pandemics, wars, etc) and people steal from that help… I don’t support the death penalty but I see the argument here for it.
I remember when newspapers filled this role. Now they run interference for the crooks and every so often report on work others do. So sad, honestly. What happens to the Gray Lady?
Well, as a matter of fact, I do follow what's going on with deep sea mining(couldn't access to the article though). Would you like to destroy the very idea of deep sea mining? Doable in 10 minutes. Max. Two u2be videos to view and let's say two or 3 articles. How's that? Criticisms are welcome.
That's the microeconomic perspective. From my point of view, deep sea mining is not triggered by private companies but by the States pushing for it on a national level. Markets AND Money are created by States... .They do not occur spontaneously. Now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsFG-yXm7gs
« Instead, public finance is seen as being dependent on the ‘wealth-creating’ private sector, leading to a fundamental misunderstanding of how states are funded ». These lines are from the book of Mary MELLOR : « MONEY- Myths, Truths and alternatives », p.12.
