I always look up the difficulty number afterwards and today's says 3.5/5. I'd give it 5/5. Solved it, but purple was a default, would not have guessed it in a million years

Connections Bot has many pages of details about the current days game how many guessed same as you, in what order etc etc

Type in 'Connections Bot' in search. it'll take you there ... for sone reason they don't have a link on the games page

Steve there's a page under the little lightbulb icon. I try to avoid it until after I've solve the puzzle, love the little illustration which is a clever creative clue by itself. The 3.5/5 rating was there today...maybe it changes as readers solve (or don't)?

Hmmm. I don't see any lightbulb icon anywhere. ( I use the actual NYT Games App for IOS) i go to the Bot after I solve to get the stats , today's shows 5/5 oh well
