Several federal employee unions sued Elon Musk and the Office of Personnel Management on Tuesday, arguing that the agency violated federal privacy law by divulging sensitive personal information to Musk.

The world is crossing its fingers that Trump will abide by the judiciary’s rulings. If he doesn’t, what is left of the Constitution in practical terms?
I look forward to the stories where you talk to the "real" Americans. Like maybe you could go to a coffee shop in DC where everyday civil servants gather. Of course, coffee shops in DC will close as Musk fires thousands of civil servants, AKA federal employees.
And if these several federal employee unions prevail in court - what then? What EXACTLY is the mechanism of ENFORCEMENT? Can members of Congress call on the Capital Police to enforce the court orders since the US Marshals are under the authority of the Executive? Can regular people enforce the
court orders? Like could the cyber security experts in California AG Rob Bonta's office hack into federal systems and set everything back to what it was before DOGE and say they are doing it as enforcement of court orders? How EXACTLY can any court orders against the Trump Admin be enforced?
I assume they're suing for damages - financial compensation - and/or to get him removed, or sent to prison maybe? I have no idea what's even possible. Because yeah, no putting that toothpaste back in the tube.
That's the thing - there's basically no way to undo this, and even if they could, I guarantee you Musk has copies of all this data, and it's probably already on the global market.
Oh look, another lawsuit for Elon. This time for exposing federal employees’ private data. At this point, his entire empire is just built on breaches and bad decisions.
Another reason why public service unions need to go. They just work against the country and progress. It's rather CUTE that they think their their "sensitive" info hasn't already been stolen when they joined TikTok. And you KNOW they did! lol
Only Businesses should pay taxes and pay off our national debt. Stop taxing the citizens!

#FDT, #Resist, #Trump, #GOP, It smells too Musky in the house, time to air the place out!
The Republican Party didn’t just change—it has become unrecognizable. Now, the GOP isn’t a party—it’s a machine built on grievance, conspiracy, and power for power’s sake. This piece I wrote lays out exactly how it happened—and why there’s no going back.
So what the government allowed to look at that sensitive information they are employees
federal workers are employees of the government
You people are stupid
NO, "the government" is NOT allowed to look at that sensitive information. Only some authorized people have access, and they only have access to certain pieces of it, and only when ABSOLUTELY necessary.
There are all kinds of regulations to ensure that it is well-protected, and Musk violated them.
A federal employee might be allowed to do something like view a single person's record, with all but the name and salary data hidden, to update it when that person got a raise.
They would NOT be allowed to download and copy the entire federal government's HR data.

If he stole these people's cars, they wouldn't have to sue and "argue" that he violated personal property law.
The problem is that the president of the United States of America agrees with him.
Mr. Musk torched my privacy and my rights!

Like Musk did.
I do not give permission for him to have my data!
Musk is not a government employee or we would have seen him swear an oath to the constitution
But as we see swearing an oath in Murica doesn't mean anything anymore
