Uh is that normal? How about making that clear. If not then how can one not call the Supreme Court what it sadly has become? Five justices in the photo. Wow. NYT is exponentially decaying, like the Washington Post these days. Journalism has been in a steep decline for decades.
Plus, WTF with that headline? Normalizing what is happening with the Supreme Court by inserting the idea that attending is a pain? No. They were objecting. Attending that speach is part of the honor of serving in our government and Trump has tainted the value of that honor.
Well, Kavanaugh and Barrett pretty much have to attend don't they? They would never be anywhere near the Supreme Court of Trump didn't need loyalists. He owns them.
This photo isn't from last night's address to congress—NYT using this photo is like being the dunce of journalism school. They probably just wanted to avoid using the coverage of Justice Roberts smiling & shaking Trump's hand.
We are in a constitutional nightmare. They gave him immunity and sold their souls. I am a 66 year old woman and will be out in the streets risking my life soon. I will not be silent.
