But on x, they are cheering on the cruelty. They want more judges arrested. They think the president has all the power. Our education system has failed oscer they are so full of hate they dont care about our constitution
Yes! Entertainment is a huge part of his schtick. Recall that debacle of an Oval Office meeting with Zelensky? "This is going to be great television." He's having a blast getting all his junk yard dogs riled up. As long as they know who to hate, they will do anything for him.
What has brought us to this point is nearly two decades of polarized Congress that simply no longer functions as a legislative body.
So we have presidents of both parties resorting to all this Executive Order bullshit. Then it heads to the courts, which find it generally unconstitutional.
‘Over reaching’ euphemism for - horse and coaches through the Constitution- where are the NRA when you need them, you know the internal militia whose existence is based on upholding the constitution?
Maybe 20:1 legislature laws to EOs, but not absolutely 5:135 (totally the other way around). Also EOs are NOT laws, they are statements of policy subject to judicial and congressional review.
NYT w/ over 40 Posts today alone on Bluesky, but no 🦋 (Bluesky link) on any of their platform's contact methods ... and NO current plans to add one (see attached NYT chat)???
Are people so bored with their lives that they find this bullshit "exciting"? I want to go back to when the government just ran like normal and I didn't have to think about it daily.
It's bad now but it will get much worse for the working class if Republicans pass the HUGE $4.6 Trillion tax cut for the rich.
Tax cut for the rich, tariff taxes on the working class and deep cuts in Social Security/Medicaid/Medicare must rock the foundation of the Republican Party.
In related news, a majority of Americans would have rejected the candidacy of a self-described “dictator” if @nytimes.com had put that explicit threat above the fold, in 9/11-point font, where it belonged.
he's a fascist piece of shit and a moron. his supporters are fascists and nazis. his "aggressive efforts to expand executive power" mean "to establish himself as a dictator and autocrat"
stop trying to normalize the fascist. he's abnormal.

Needs a new question: should the Pres be able able to send *you* to a prison in El Salvador?
It’s not.
That's important.
