Mueller had wrapped up a “starter pack” for Garland and he dragged his feet from the get-go. Electorate or not, I can’t help but think that Garland is partially responsible for this little mess we’re in.

The Republicans will use the power they have when they have it, rule of law be damned, as they’ve done before. Garland had report in hand from the Mueller report that Trump could be charged for obstruction in the very least. Detain him as a flight risk! You’re the AG-use your imagination and power.

I think there's a significant number of Trump voters who lied to the pollsters. Dunno if this was a promoted thing among them, but it seems the most plausible explanation
