Hello, my friend Alan, please help me get my children's food. We have no food except dry bread and canned leftovers. Please help me spread it.πππππ
Thanks to the video, I realize how small they are! It would be awesome to get molds of them for jewelry.
I've been trying to enjoy the area around me as well. I've been hopping on my bike and have taken roads I don't use. Caught this sea of yellow last weekend. π
Every job site needs a foreman and Anna's the cutest one ever!
On another note, I have an artist friend who's calendar this year was of various mushrooms. I wonder if she got any of her ideas from your adventures and photographs.
I found this little dude when standing to take pictures of showy flowers started to make me faint and I had to stay low for a bit. Perspective shakeups are pretty cool.
I have a question
I see your pictures of mushrooms on branches
Are certain mushrooms capable to take advantage of dead wood more specific to species of trees and how the tree succumbs to how tree dies?
For example maybe a tree is injured by a mower, or herbicide injury, natural injury death
If my center of gravity were that high I think I'd fall flat on my face if I leaned over to check out a mushroom. I love your photos though as I find them enjoyable and relaxing.
I really wish I knew what mushrooms were safe to touch in my country, always though them neat but with how much here plant and fungus wise is poisonous I have to operate on the 'don't know? don't touch.' rule.
Have never seen them growing like that!
Mushrooms here in the south part of the North Country are out of whack this & last season - nothing's where it was when it was 2 yrs ago.At least not where I've been hunting
I love that you take your daughter with you on your excursions. She gets her fresh air and sunshine, but she also feels your enthusium for what you are doing as she listens to you talk to her. These are lessons she will not duplicate in any school. β£οΈπ
Awwww a nice mushroom to look at is exactly what I needed to smile today. What a stressful day
Funny, Idk why I love the mushroom pics, why they make me smile but I do.

You always seem happy when you find one and thatβs cool.
Even before my knees turned into Nature Valley granola bars I learned that if someone invites me on a hike I have to warn them that I am not a peak bagger, Iβm a dawdler. If I spot a mushroom, a nice lichen colony, or some good moss, Iβm stopping to gaze at it.

I never thought I would love mushrooms so much. Thanks for opening this up to me. Always surprises in life. I'm retired now, I may just go looking for mushrooms. π

Is it possible to include which mushrooms are edible and which ones are not?

Thank you....oh, and please give Anna a virtual hug from this Nana!
Have you came across any 'stinky longhorn' grows in oaks. Smells like a dead animal.
