Slowly catching up on my e-newsletter backlog, I was confronted by this: “For my birthday, my friend gifted me a [book] with her favorite lines highlighted – this has become my favorite way to receive a book-gift.”

Would you do this? To me it seems weird & intrusive. Let them read it their way!
