Velvet revolution was in 1989 and dissolution was in 1993, so this one belongs to both of us.

Bratislava also saw it's share of protests, they were also fed up with the violence.

I was in rural Slovakia in early 1990 when it was still Czechoslovakia, during the first elections.

There was a small-ish election rally which I eventually realised was the re-branded Communists.

I also remember the group of young protesters chanting "Fascists" and "Dubcek! Svoboda!"
