And that is correct. The language, the vocabulary they are using is often the same as with Putin preparing for invasion of Ukraine. MAGA is nationalistic, imperialist project.
They do not expect Canadians to resist, but to submit as another US state - that is incredibly similar...

Saw a post recently:

The US would win conventionally, but their war morale would be in the litter, Canadians would be utterly enraged.
Canada is a large country, a lot of places to hide and people that could easily be identified as American.
If Afghanistan was bad, Canada will be hell for them.
