no, English doesn’t have gendered nouns like French & Spanish. I’m guessing—my French is mostly forgotten high school stuff—that if some had a female cat & said “la chatte,” it would be understood in context to mean “cat” & not “pussy/vagina.” But if you said “le chat” or “mon chat” (“my cat”) 1/2
