idk if we do that or a different form of sedation here (and that’s so expensive) but we do general anaesthetic injection which i hear it just horrible 🥲 but i have been advised to ask if i need it by people who haven’t had any pain relief for it
if its like the states you don’t have to have the nitrous oxide. they will put a topical numbing jelly around the area that’s going to be treated, then they’ll let the jelly sit a minute. They will inject you with the localized anesthetic. The shot for that is a minor pinch after the numbing jelly.
The pinch you feel will only be during the shot. after that, your nerves are numbed and slack. you won’t feel anything until a while after your procedure. and if you’re just getting a filling, you shouldn’t feel any pain at all. A slight discomfort at most.
