idk if we do that or a different form of sedation here (and that’s so expensive) but we do general anaesthetic injection which i hear it just horrible 🥲 but i have been advised to ask if i need it by people who haven’t had any pain relief for it

if its like the states you don’t have to have the nitrous oxide. they will put a topical numbing jelly around the area that’s going to be treated, then they’ll let the jelly sit a minute. They will inject you with the localized anesthetic. The shot for that is a minor pinch after the numbing jelly.
The pinch you feel will only be during the shot. after that, your nerves are numbed and slack. you won’t feel anything until a while after your procedure. and if you’re just getting a filling, you shouldn’t feel any pain at all. A slight discomfort at most.
oh no my bad, i mean like after the whole shabang is complete, like the lasting effects of the anaesthetic (well this is what my mum advised and she’s not had the anaesthetic every time since, she was like DONT DO IT IF U DONT NEED IT and now i’m like oouuhhhh wtf 😵💫😵💫)
