They want federal employees to suffer psychological abuse and not speak to press about it. It’s not difficult to imagine them coming after members of the media next. Scary shit, but silence is not an option.

Heard from a friend at a three-letter agency that 50 employees were walked out the door on Friday because they had left their CAC cards in their computers. CACs, of course, are useless without their passwords. So ending people’s careers over a minor security violation.
Not only unreliable but total pseudoscience nonsense. The reading is just interpreted by a random guy based on watching the person taking the test, there is no statistical consistency in the signal to what indicates a lie or a truth.
Republicans are a batch of politicians and voters who believe everything they see on TV is real. So they are play acting law enforcement here like it’s Law and Order just like they think Leave it to Beaver is a documentary about life in the 50s or the Apprentice was a real business show.
They might as well use one of those “audit” machines that Scientologists use. They are just about as effective. That is, completely ineffective pseudoscience.
Oh this has been one of Justice Kavanaugh's pet projects since long before his appointment to the supreme Court. Fratboy loooooves him some polygraphs and has been trying to get them reinstated
Polygraphs ARE NOT INFALLIBLE!
Back in 1993, it took me Three Tries to get through my Full Lifestyle Poly.
I was a Retired US Navy Cryptologic Officer, with 20 years of holding Multiple TS/SCI and SAP/SAR Clearances.
Finally, I was literally 'Coached' through it. Did 20 more years of Cleared work.
Everyone should lie and say it was Colonel Mustard in the drawing room. Sing Pink Pony Club or Row Your Boat. Everyone should have their lawyer present. Take the 5th 4,000 times like Trump did. Make a mockery out of everything these assholes do.
I want Trump and everyone close to him to take a polygraph test, iif they did, the needles on the machine would move so up and down so quickly, they'd probably break the machines with their lies. No one lies like a MAGA, I think we all knw that.
This is a substitute for the "for cause" requirements of civil service. Once they pick you as a target your termination is guaranteed. All results will be reported as positive. The firing is in service of workforce terror.
If any of them are clearanced at any poly-requiring level they can be forced to take it, and if they refuse they can have their clearance yanked, which then makes them ineligible for their job.
I told my daughters, from my own personal experience, “rules (at work) don’t exist to make things fair. Rules are things they use against you when they don’t like you.
i doubt kristi noem understands this or cares but if you give a large number of people a polygraph like this you're going to get an unmanageable number of false positives
Call fascism what it is. This doesn't look like a very free press to me either. Where's the coverage of the Americans gathering in our streets everywhere recently? Historic numbers out here, and not a peep. Silence is complicity in this class war. Billionaires are raging, y'all what's up?
Totalitarianism. We knew this would happen. If I were a DHS employee, even at a managerial level, I would resign right away and find alternative employment before the reputation of DHS hits the basement and beyond.
Most dictators go after the press sooner or later...best way to stifle the spread of news about the regime and the dictator that could be embarrassing...in Germany it was called "Schriftleitergesetz" - Editor's Law...that may well be on our horizon...
They wouldn’t care if they weren’t leaking the truth.
What is @dhsgov.govmirrors.com doing that they don’t want the public to know? We are entitled to hold our government accountable.
So it goes like this - “first they came for the immigrants & I said nothing because I wasn’t an immigrant, then they came for transgender people but I am not one of them, then they came for the federal employees…”
See how it works. 1930’s Nazi Germany anyone?
While Biden tried to help all workers by using his power to give rights and benefits to federal workers, now Trump and Musk are harming them for likely the same reason.
Perhaps the problem is more about fear of not meeting🍊🤡’s expectations than about leaks to the press: “37,660 people were deported in Trump's 1st month in office, including both removals & returns, far less than Biden’s monthly average of 57,000 in 2024” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deporta...
Take that polygraph, and you are freely giving away your fifth amendment right protecting you from self incrimination. They WILL use whatever the results are against you.
Is it even possible to polygraph every employee; doesn't it take several hours per employee and equipment and trained operators limited; so, who will they polygraph, and based on what information?
They’ll start with disabled people. Next will be suspected LGBTQIA+ folks, then move on to POCs, until they reach the number of people they decided was the target to fire before they started.
They probably have cross-referenced their personal social media accounts with posts and those will be the target of the interrogations. After all, they own X and Meta, and probably TikTok too.
These are not good bosses. This kind of hostility toward the people that work for you results in lowered efficiency and passive resistance to directives. Maybe that’s a good thing in some ways?
These knuckleheads think they live in an episode of 24. Jack Bauer wannabes. They don’t care if polygraphs won’t hold in court. It’s is intentional intimidation and abuse
As per the P2025 plan. Break the Federal employees’ spirit and make them despise their jobs, so as to make it easier to terminate them. It’s all in writing and the OPM Secy is the ringmaster.
Mainstream media got on its hands and knees to grovel to him. They have continuously mischaracterized what DOGE is doing. They're in bed with these despots.
Leave it to Kristi Noem to actually believe security polygraphs are real and not just a way to catch people lying about things the govt should not know about them and yet somehow does.
He is going to kill us all, because he is a malignant sadistic narcissist. He can’t build, he only destroys - and he loves to inflict maximum pain; it makes the weak little orange man feel strong. At 55 mins the ‘shrinking trump’ podcasts discusses this very point.
Do polygraphs stand up in court as evidence? For either guilt or innocence? I don't know the current state of things in this regard (not a lawyer or such), but as a neuroscientist, this seems very iffy to me. Another court case? Hope you get the gist of my concerns.
Polygraph results are inadmissible in court regardless of the result. They're pseudoscience used mainly for interrogation by police who are allowed to lie about the results.
But perhaps it's cause for termination? I don't know for sure, but many government agencies routinely use lie detectors to screen people for clearances, so maybe?
The secret to passing a polygraph is to be freaked out at every question, including the diagnostic and control questions, so that the results are inconclusive.
The test administrator will also look for nonverbal cues like posture and body language, and tics like nose-scratching or face-rubbing.
They do drug tests before the polygraph. It can detect anything from illegal substances to weed, sleep aids, and even allergy meds. But allergy meds have an excuse if you have allergies.
Idk if it can detect caffeine though, and caffeine can increase anxiety and throw off test results.
I mean they already came after the @apnews.com, expelled @algreen.house.gov from the SOTU, and are trying to deport a Palestinian student for nonviolent civil disobedience. They're already there. If people don't wake up immediately and bring this to an end, it's over.
Homan belongs in prison. He’s a sociopath that is so hyper focused on his job that he has no sense of the crimes he’s committing against humanity. Lock him up.
Good thing the agency responsible for the interconnectivity of all of our intelligence systems isn't so stupid that they don't know polygraph tests don't work

This is about threatening people.
Is there anywhere other than America that does? Utter hocus.

When will this scumbag be arrested for high treason?
Nobody can fire you for not taking one.
But yes, they’ll cook up a reason to try to dismiss you anyway.

Refuse to be treated like a criminal.
Or fold, and give up your rights voluntarily.
Walk. Make them try to secure the homeland without you.
They are coercing your behavior with threats to your paycheck.

Second, can we get a lie detector on FOTUS so we can find out who he sold the stolen top secret documents to? We know it was Pukin, but who else?

Cuz that would be REALLY embarrassing
