MPD officers showed up at USIP 5:30pm on Monday after Inter-con personnel left, responding to a police report re: Inter-con's incursion earlier. Police propped open the door to usher in the DOGE people.

Years ago, an officer of the law helped a landlord cheat me because he thought his responsibility was to "mediate" a case where I was being robbed. If it's too complicated for the officer to understand, that's why there are supervisors and courts.
When the GOP Congress promised that any cuts to the DC budget would not affect the MPD and directly called out the police union, I think they made it pretty clear who the MPD should support.
DOGE staff is drunk with power. This is dictator shit. This is an independent 501 c3 organization. I hope we get the names of these DOGE, FBI and MPD people who did this for future prosecutions.
I’m sorry… this may be a non-profit but it’s not a government business. Right? So isn’t this the basically the government strong arming a business that they don’t like? Just because someone doesn’t like the business. Will they be going after American’s for-profit businesses next?
Exceedingly rare for judges to openly express fury from the bench, but the livepost so far is a pretty good indication that Judge Howell is holding on to her temper with both hands. The chutzpah of the government side trying to defend this is well-nigh unbelievable.
Judge Howell reads resume of ousted USIP President Moose, which includes long history of government service. "THAT'S who MPD escorted out of the building?"
Judge Howell is incredulous that government believes they were "lawfully" enforcing Trump's EO at USIP by "use of guns and threats against American citizens who've served our country for years."
Judge Howell asks the government's lawyer: This conduct of threatening criminal investigation, using armed law enforcement from 3 diff agencies, to carry out EO. Targeting, terrorizing staff. When there are so many other lawful ways to accomplish goals. WHY those ways? Just bc DOGE is in a rush?
like, we are supposed to believe they even CHECKED for duplicate records? a group of outsiders unaccompanied by actual employees looked for - and found - copies of all the documents they wanted without even knowing the file system? Suuuuure.
I still can't fathom for the life of me what business DOGE would have destroying and shredding ANY records of ANY agency independent or not. What's "efficient" about that?
People keep saying, Haha! Wait till maga finds out what they did! They may never.
I can conceive of ways the regime can miss the MAGAs with their destruction to keep them tight. They can target the destruction to us, to the vulnerable, etc.
I hope this causes massive duplication archiving, removal, preservation of work product, processes, histories, of everything that is our property and extracting for safekeeping.
Laws against that? Discouraged from doing that? Confer. Decide. Be clever.
Gov't says the president always has the right to remove members serving executive functions in executive branch. But, as judge points out, USIP is not an executive agency!!!
Reminds me of the lady who honked at me because I stopped at a stop sign. She was behind me and wanted to go faster. We were entering a shopping area with a grocery store, a pizza place, a Buffalo Wild Wings, a pet store, and a Math tutoring venue. Which store required that we run a stop sign?
I worked for Ambassador Moose when he was at the US Mission to the UN. He is a superb diplomat with a long and distinguished record of service to our country.
the part I do not understand is under what pretext the FBI was there. the priorities of the FBI are terrorism, counterintelligence, cybercrime, public corruption, civil rights, transnational organized crime, white-collar crime, and organized crime. is USIP being investigated for any of those?
As a DC resident, I find this horrifying.
I'm currently writing a message to the DC Police Chief asking if someone showed up at my door trying to get in, and I said no, would they just have to call MPD and be given access?
This is why sane Americans no longer feel safe calling the police. They're not law enforcement, they're a terrorist group. We have documented court cases around the country of cops copying gangs with initiation rituals, tattoos and structured hierarchies. Every time I see a cop, I feel fear.
I think Brennan Lee Mulligan referred to them as an occupying army against the American people, and too many don’t understand what that means or why we say these things
I think that's bc most Americans are pretty illiterate in the area of US and World History. They don't know what a paramilitary is. The way I addressed my own gap in this area was to get a degree in Spanish Studies. My professors did an excellent job of showing us real footage of different coups.

Which they never do unless it's to support right wing shit

"That's a lot of law enforcement at a charitable organization's building to enforce this executive order," Judge says.

The answer is about to show and it’s likely not to come down as loyalty to the Constitution.

They will need their militias soon.
