Does anyone who use vtuber studio and streams marvel rivals know how to deal with the lag while streaming? I try playing on windowed mode lowest res but it doesn't seem to help much. I've heard it's an issue with most vtubers regardless of PC, so I'm a little hesitant to buy more RAM - ThreadSky

The last time I encountered something like this it was with OverWatch 2. What you had to do was in Windows settings under app controls I believe it is you had to specifically set the vts to high-powered mode which would favor GPU processing over processor processing. That fixed the lag for me.

Well I've used a dual PC setup for about 2 years now. So I'm a little out of the game on this topic. But generally speaking most games do not top out my GPU so the game is using like 80% of it meanwhile vtube studio is taking 20% of your processor off the top. Maybe? It's a lot of variables.

If you're in the US or Canada I'd recommend waiting until black Friday or boxing Day. I was able to get one capable of running obs recording in 4k and streaming at the same time while running vts for like $600

It depends on what's actually bottlenecking your system. How much RAM do you have currently and is it all being used up when you stream MR?

I have 32GB ram, I've had this weird thing recently where I have to restart my PC because task manager says it's using up around 60% RAM when I just switched my PC on. Once I restart it, it goes back down to around 20%, not sure if that affects it?
My RAM goes to about 97% when streaming MR

Yeah in that case you could probably benefit from upgrading to 64 gigs, maxing out RAM has significant performance problems. But first I'd suggest checking over all the software you're running/in the background. There's a lot of software you might get marketed that you DONT need.

have you been opening vtube without steam?

it could make a noticeable difference otherwise yeah rivals does just devour gpu and cpu and so does vtube studio

so if you dont find a solution it may be png time

If you haven’t tried this yet, isolate Marvel Rivals in its own scene in OBS and see if that helps. My issue was that I had too many other game sources in the scene, and Rivals is a bit of a diva.

honestly I've just been seeing people swap to a PNG tuber for Rivals... the game is just such an insane resource drain, it's ok to take the path of least resistance lol
