When I was a TA I told the students that if they were late to my 8AM lab or were disruptive I would clown them and I that I was (I remain) incredibly sarcastic and cutting. I think if the students feel like they are in on the joke, it is fine. I was late one day and they were merciless. It was great

I love this!! If I was a teacher, I'd be very upset if students fell asleep during my class. My solution would be to smack their desk with a big yardstick, but some little snowflake would probably complain to the higher-ups about that. This is a much better solution.

😂 I was the only woman in an engineering class way back. During those large lectures, the professor used to holler out my seat number, and tell me to hit the guy in front of me who always fell asleep. There were 450 guys in that lecture and the snoring was unbelievable at 8:30 in the morning.
