It also feels like the Dems most ready and willing to act are also the ones the party tries to ignore and keep out of positions. That might just be a feeling, tho.

That sentiment is based on nonsense.
Any Democrats who said those things, assuming they exist, were speaking at a time when Republicans controlled the House.
Now, Democrats are a minority in both Houses.
So, the statements attributed to these cryptids would actually be true.

I’m old enough to remember Musk clearly stating that Americans would suffer hardships to fulfil “Trumps” agenda & they would have to basically suck it up & 77 million people ignored that comment & many more to still vote for him
