Schumer's plan is to literally do nothing until the White House defies the Supreme Court. By then, it may well be too late. He is unfit to lead in this moment and needs to go.

Schumer: "If he defies the Supreme Court, then we are in uncharted territory ... our entire democracy is at risk. I believe that if Donald Trump should defy the courts, the public will rise up. Democrats will fight it in every single way ... autocrats only succeed if the public lets them."

@schumer.senate.gov is part of the fascist trump party. He’s not misunderstanding anything. These are calculated moves to make sure he (just him not his constituents) isn’t killed by the trump. The DNC is complicit in this because ruling in hell is better than serving in heaven for them.
While the protests, town halls, and Tesla protests are gathering momentum, I don’t know if they’ll reach critical mass in time to save whatever is left of democracy. The speed at which Trump and Musk are dismantling it requires our elected leaders get with the program. Schumer is not up for this
Yes. If he won't, though, we simply have to go around him. AOC and Bernie and a few others are showing what leadership looks like. Work with them.
Schumer’s commitment to fuel the fire and his refusal to see it requires removing him. Go home Chuck, you serve without purpose. To the rest of the Dems, removal is necessary!
He is sticking to his post because he can’t afford a $20k/yr cut in pay. lol!!
Make him resign
We’re working on it in NYC
Schumer: Hey you, citizens Im weak and ineffective
You go first
Besides he won't have to defy Scotus bc they will rule in his favor.
Schumer also places undue faith in the courts, especially SCOTUS, to block Trump - especially when Congressional leaders like Schumer won’t do so themselves. Courts rarely want to be the only ones challenging power.
He also won’t do anything if/when the White House defies the Supreme Court, because there will always be wiggle room: “They didn’t violate the specific wording,” or “It wasn’t a unanimous decision,” or “Alito said it was OK.”
We have risen, Chuck. We are on the streets every fucking day telling you all that we do not like what is happening. What does he actually need to do? Does he need to knife every fucking justice on the Scotus for you to get off your dead fucking ass and do something?
I'll drop this here, came from a post by Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin on Substack. I'm happy to help in any way I can to get Chucky removed from leadership. Thanks for keeping us updated Brandon Friedman.

We also have no reason to think SCOTUS will rule in ways that bind Trump to our laws & the Constitution.
Senate democrats need to fire @schumer.senate.gov
@gallego.senate.gov told 12News here in Phoenix that it’s a sideshow and doesn’t want to get involved in “the fight”

He checked out the minute he was sworn in
So no improvement on Sinema?
Hands down, worse. There’s no salvaging him. He’s was gone the minute he was sworn in.

I hope this is a lesson, generally, about how blue no matter who isn’t the philosophy to live by.

But bigger issue is he ran unopposed so there was also no choice.
Thanks, Lucy. An acquaintance in Scottsdale who's some kind of bigwig in the Democratic Senior community recently posted a pic of himself with Gallego at a meet-and-greet. I'd rather think he had no other choice than that he's a rube. He started out as a big Sinema supporter, too, of course.
I’m local to Scottsdale myself. We were all itching for that Phx town hall addy/pub RSVP link. Went hard contacting media to explain who was invited or why we couldn’t get link.

Would still love to know who meets the criteria for service/a response

The exclusion is real. Non vet, millennial here
Shout out to the Arizona Mirror for sharing the address 90 mins before so a few folks on here were able to attend last min.

Really annoyed the media wouldn’t even share the response his camp gave when they asked for RSVP to share w interested public
