Normally, government employees sharing national security secrets on personal devices would be arrested with their phones and laptops seized as evidence.

They act with impunity because the people let them. The law? No longer relevant. Federal crimes? Pardoned with a stroke of a pen. So what will America do now? The ball’s in your court.
It's all about the rules! There are rules for us, the avg Joe's and Josephine's. Then there are the rules for them. They can just make them up as they go along. The End. Had that said to me in a management meeting.
Yup. Just ask Reality Winner. Sentenced to 5 years in prison by the Traitor's previous reign of terror for revealing Russian hacking our elections. Can't be having anyone spilling the beans on how the Traitor won in 2025.
Its like being in a simulation of pre ww2 Germany but its been dubbed into english for our convenience. That happened pretty fast as well. If I'm remembering correctly only took Hitler like 53 days to dismantle that democracy.
Using Signal is wildly irresponsible,

That's a pretty serious allegation, and I'm curious to know more about the context behind it 🤔. Don't you think that government employees should be held to a higher standard when it comes to handling sensitive information, and that such breaches could have serious consequences for national security?
Now, you can argue, as some have, that Hegseth and Gabbard *are* the classifying authorities, so they're in the clear.
But it doesn't negate the fact that America's national security secrets are currently unprotected by those charged with keeping U.S. service members and the American public safe.
Nothing happened when national security secrets were taken from the White House and stored in the MAGA Largo crapper, so why should we expect anything else now?
But this is probably post facto declassification. I’m sure they considered the information classified (or some other security designation) at the time of the discussion. That type of info would normally be classified, right?
I would certainly like to know the extent to which government business is being conducted on unsecured messaging apps. If we had an opposition party, they might try to find that out and demand consequences.
At this point don't we want them to leak their plans in advance for let's say the Canada and Greenland invasions and declaring martial law? This isn't a government or military who is on our side. Do we understand yet that free & fair elections are over now, right?
That’s what they want. Putin had it with the bombings of apartment buildings in Russia which allowed him to officially consolidate all power under him.
Exactly. Highly unlikely that this was an isolated event. These are supposed to be government records; they are skirting that. Why? Remember Salt Typhoon targeting senior officials', including Vance, cell phones? Hello? China, are you there?
13 American service members died, dozen more injured, billions in equipment given to Taliban, critical airbase near China nukes abandoned by Biden yet no one was reprimanded for Afghanistan?

Sound familiar?
It’s a disaster.
It is fascinating to see a country so thoroughly dismantle itself in such a short period though.

This is just the security breach we KNOW about.
And I never believed he won.
Every member of Congress not moving to impeach all of them right now is an accomplice.
