Funny thing is, I used to e-mail Nintendo a bit when I was younger, but now the means of contacting them seem to be purely for customer support, so it's harder to just e-mail them telling them I want a new Mach Rider or whatever.

I disagree, personally. People who don’t keep up with video games as much or haven’t had the opportunity to play a game because they’ve been busy will still care about spoilers. It’s better to have the option than not, in any case, imo
