No. Most Canadians did not want Trudeau gone. Trudeau did a fine job and represented Canada exceptionally well. This is just an echo of PP's endless smear campaign, not a valid critique.
It's because our media kept repeating PPs lies and BS about Trudeau and so Cdns believed it. The media also would not tell the truth about PP so he didn't look as bad as he actually is. Our media is a big reason Trudeau had to resign.
The media repeated what PP was saying because he's the official opposition, it's really up to us to decide if he's full of something or not. And as presented, I thought he looked pretty bad, others didn't want to see it that way.
The media's job is to report the truth and not to repeat lies told by PP. They're afraid to actually say when Cons are lying. We need Cdn-owned media and more public support for independent media so we have media that reports facts and works in our interests, that's their job.
If you say so, but also, reporters report. I have no problem with any news org reporting what PP says. It doesn't take much brain power to detect nonsense if we want to, and up until a few weeks ago, we were happy to not detect it.
It's not just Pierre who wants him to stay. Plenty of Canadians wish he hadn't been pushed out. They're just afraid to say anything because you have a habit of calling them out on social media. So go ahead - call me out. I don't give a shit, Theo.
