FWIW, early reports of Trump doing great with Hispanics, Muslims, etc etc were largely bullshit. The big difference was some 7 million 2020 Biden voters who stayed home in 2024.

You’re right. I think I’m too emotionally connected to the “early polls were bullshit” narrative to admit - to myself, even - that as a bloc, Latinos tend to vote more “conservative” than makes sense.

Many did not think Trump would deport their family members here illegally.

Also, Philly Puerto Rican men said they could vote Joe but not a woman so they switched to Trump even though the trash comment.

And 53% of white women voted against their rights & lied about egg prices to hide their racism.
