Single Transferable Vote (STV) is like PR & RCV had a chaotic but effective child. You rank candidates, but multiple winners are picked per riding.
Who’s Fighting for STV?
-No major Canadian group is actively pushing STV right now.
-Used in Ireland & Scotland, where it works well.
STV? Not likely👇

📢 Politicians ignore us because we’re too divided on the solution.
📢 If we rally around one, they can’t ignore us.
📢 The louder we get, the harder it is to shut us down.
So… what’s the plan? 👇
📢 Follow & support:
🔹 Fair Vote Canada (@fairvote.ca) – Website (PR advocacy)
🔹 No major RCV/STV groups in Canada, but we can push for them.
📢 Make noise:
🔹 Ask your MP where they stand.
🔹 Post about it.
🔹 Demand media coverage.👇

Did you know that single-winner RCV (aka IRV) uses the same process as multi-winner/proportional RCV (aka STV) you just stop once the 1st person wins? H.R. Droop proposed using this special case of STV in 1881.
Also, big thanks—ya girl loves a good analogy. 🔥
