Of those we do know, many have no legal protection - proposed as Natural Heritage Areas, the weakest form of protection, but never formalised.
Is there a point at which we will draw the line? We've already lost 99.9%.
If any 2 people working at ground level can pull off ecosystem restoration there, they will. We'll see.
