If you want crazy album names, look no further than Coheed & Cambria:
"The Willing Well III: Apollo II: Telling Truth" is a song from the album "Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV - Volume I: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness"
(All their albums are part of a story called Amory Wars, the alum after is Good Apollo Volume 2. Song somes on their album are named with parts. Eg, Willing Well I-IV and Telling Truth I-II, which overlap. Hence the long song name)
Sorry to break your great streak... , but, Icehouse was a track made by Flowers..
Anyway, Icehouse is my favourite aussie band. And I'm going for a live concert of theirs at Mannum, SA in January. Wolfmother will be there too. What could possibly go wrong!?
I feel like this has to do a lot with how we are used to playlists and mixes now instead of actually listening to albums or an artist discography like we used to
Even in radio they would announce the song name and artist
Listening to music has become very passive now, you can just hit shuffle
I"m at the age where my son will play Krillbait Acid of Eternity and I'm not sure if that's the artist, the song, an album, 2 of the aforementioned and why is this a love song?
Came across similar a few years back on Twitter (pre-Elon) when a foreign account thought Axel F recorded "Crazy Frog." Corrected them (it's the reverse) and gave quick background on what 80s movie it came from.
I found a bunch of soundlclouds I liked and have no idea even the genre its supposed to be. I mean, they are DJ sets from some Amsterdam record store series that have no playlist and I named them by the date I downloaded them with almost no other info. My friends love and hate me for it.
it was like a long night when I had a soundcloud acct, just downloading anything that seemed slightly interesting. most of it was euro 80's pop I'd never heard. Shazam was like WTF? for the lot of it. safely backed up and in heavy rotation if we have people over.
I’m at the age where I don’t even know the artists or albums anymore. And my year unwrapped and rewound is artistts from 30-40 years ago which hurts my heart ❤️🩹. Crazy thing is some of those artists are putting out new music. Looking to you Offspring

Most new music I hear is from soundtracks of movies, TV shows, trailers, commercials or video games.
They still make albums? 🎵🤔
