Oh that takes me back to the mid 1970s. If only I’d kept them ☹️

I got mine as a job lot in a charity shop about 15 years ago. Accompanied by some other collaborations which I may have foolishly parted with.

Great when you hit treasure like that. I completed my Patrick O’Brian collection thanks to a charity shop.

I just had to invert the colours to see what drawings they used

Wyndham hasn’t been done well in decades (possible exception for the silver Penguin Modern Classics). Just look at the current style:

Compare with the bonkers Weird Fiction covers on what could have been.

Is there a 'people who want to read classic SF but are embarrassed about it' demographic? Because why else would those covers happen?
