Income inequality is a HUGE problem, completely agree, so the following is not disagreeing with that, however, not sure this is the right graph.

That's "before taxes and public assistance" and you really need AFTER taxes and public assistance.

I always feel like these graphs are unhelpful bc they leave out all the middle class folks (who secretly don't think they're middle class) and who need to be hit upside the head with a bat that they've also been gutted in the last 30-40 years.
