Oh yeah it was a whole thing at the time. He uses Blanchards scholarship and studies using penis/vagina "arousal measurers" (the same ones used to "validate" AGP and the idea that cis men can't be bisexual) to argue trans men are men because they have male responses to arousal

We could very easily have the same or similar sexuality and criminality patterns to cis men without it necessitating the conclusion that we're men.

And we don't need to be the same as cis women to be entitled to recognition as women.

My view is that empirical observations of men identifying as bi and engaging in sex and romance with people of multiple genders count for much more than dodgy genital measurements. In fact, such results give excellent reason to be even more suspicious of those kinds of measurements.
