Yes. As a lifelong feminist, I know well how white cishet ableist capitalist patriarchy has always claimed difference of "nature" to control, exploit and/or criminalise BIPOC, women, LGBT+, disabled people, etc.

Denying trans people (or any minoritised group) rights based on "biology" is eugenics.

If I get this wrong, pls forgive me. Your body does not oppress you. Oppression comes from others based on their judgement of your biology based on what they infer from their perception of your presentation. ‘Passing’, you’ll be oppressed as a woman until decided “trans!” then oppressed as trans.

I can't speak for Jess, but I don't believe society's oppression of some groups is rooted in biology.

Those who command the most power in society DO use biology (among other things) to "justify" sexist/racist/ableist/transphobic/etc. oppression, and privilege afforded to others they deem worthy.

And just to clarify, it's rarely about finding actual scientific evidence to justify oppression or privilege. It's usually pseudoscience, anecdotes or traditions they claim are "natural."
