Make sure kitty is comfortable on a leash first, so you donβt have to chase down a stealth predator in the dark after the cat run off after a moth or mouse or whatever
In all seriousness, taking your cat with you various places when they are young makes them more comfortable with travel and less nervous about, say, drives to the vet. Definitely leash and harness though.

yβall i have a cat back at home in georgia. i know how to take care of them lmao. i of course would keep him safe and wouldnβt take him immediately since i just got him yesterday
Mine used to follow me when I went stargazing from a field not too far from my house. Whilst I was photographing the stars he would sit on the camping chair that I bought with me.
If you want him to get used to going outside, in the dark of night when he could he missing is not advisable. You have to spend an inordinate amount of time getting him used to a harness, then begin taking him on short outings that gradually get longer and longer.
Yeah, maybe try after Nova's adjusted for a few months. My cat has been with me for 7 years and still gets So Affected by going to the vet.
Trips can be trained to be a good thing, especially when the cat is young.
Yes :) maybe a slow acclimation to the outside? I recommend surfer cat brand. My once indoor cat is now a fiend for window sills and outside time. We introduced her slowly and that helped a lot

I've had cats my whole life and only had 1 that really liked going on little road trips and camping trips.
