It should make all of us realize we are all in this together - not just in the USA but globally. We only have one world we can live on and for 99.5% of the world there is no other option. We should be nurturing this planet to sustain life, not looking for other places.
I was curious how this striking image was captured. Apparently Voyager 1 had two cameras with filters for various wavelengths.
