Shop local if you can afford it. Don't be afraid to spend a little time hunting for a non-Amazon deal if you can't. Worth mentioning for ebooks most Amazon deals are mirrored on Kobo at the same time anyway

While we're all in "Fuck Bezos" mode, two things you've probably heard before:
1) Shop local instead of through Amazon
2) For books, set your local bookshop at Bookshop dot org, and buy through there to get them a nice chunk of change:
