One of the most contagious viruses. Not only can it kill, it can cause brain damage, organ damage, and live-long health issues. A vaccine is way less riskier than thinking your immune system will take care of it.

I should specify. Unvaxxed and testing positive have been on trains and planes.

Maybe not intentionally but I’ve heard at *least* one train incident on the Boston > DC Amtrak and several flights that were warned after the fact that a passenger tested positive for measles.

Those of us that think we are vaccinated, are we good? Let’s say people born between 1968 and 1976. Parents would have vaccinated using a normal schedule in Texas. Is that population protected from that early childhood vaccine, or do we need to do anything?

You might want a booster. I traveled recently and the travel nurse wanted to check my immunity to measles (traveled to Uganda) and it turned out I had NO immunity. Had to get a booster for MMR and polio along with all the other recommended vaccinations. I was born in ‘77.
