I actually think she looks better in the golden age issue where it’s stark black and white, minus the grey shading.

Same! I feel like the B&W simplicity of the character is the whole point — she doesn't need to be hyper-realistically detailed & overly inked.

A big portion of the comic is spent simply recapping the story from All Star Comics #39 and then explaining how the Wizard was able to resurrect Lorelei. That section featured art by Michael Bair, which feels really off-model to me. Part of the charm of Lorelei's design is her B&W simplicity.

At least the issue ends back on Argondezzi's art so we get Lorelei looking like a supervillain version of Morticia again.
