Metamorpho #6 was an absolute blast. Thanks to @al-ewing.bsky.social and @stevelieberart.bsky.social for the wild ride while it lasted. Hopefully we'll get more fab freak fun in the near future.

I forgot that Marie Severin drew a Batman parody written by @tytempleton.bsky.social for Batman Black and White Volume Two.

Imagine if Andrew Garfield had faced off against this version of the Lizard in the 2012 Amazing Spider-Man movie.

Another collage of character heads by Marie Severin.

Female comic characters by Marie Severin.

I love @mitchoconnellart.bsky.social's wraparound cover art to CBA #19 featuring all the Harvey Comics characters partying.

Mail call! Three issues of Comic Book Artist!

I know I've seen Grant Morrison's sketches for other works before but I always forget what a talented artist they are. I love these early Doom Patrol designs (from the omnibus extras in a section titled "Doom Patrol Prepping").

Mail call! A decent copy of The Scorpion #1 by Howard Chaykin.

An unfortunate printing error in the Thor Artisan Edition duplicates (and slightly cuts off the tops of) pages 6-7 from issue #339 where pages 6-7 of #338 should be.

Might be time for me to try the Weil Belt, if only to silence the mocking laughter of children.

Pretty progressive for an ad in 1935.

Monday night library pickup.

A clever inside baseball joke by Alan Moore in Youngblood #2, and one that went completely over my head the first time I read this comic.

This weekend I learned that there were post-Alan Moore Supreme comics by Erik Larsen, including the first issue (restarting the numbering at #63) based on Moore's original script but not published until 2012, twelve years after Supreme: The Return #6 came out.

Some more old DC TPBs I found hidden away, starting appropriately enough with Moore.

So I wasn't imagining it when I thought I had an old copy of the Ronin TPB.

At the end of Supreme: The Return #4 there's a next issue preview & at the bottom there's a strip that repeats the same 4 main images as tiny thumbnails. One image is duplicated in an even smaller version for some reason, and the arrangement is reflected in reverse order on the facing page. Why?
