It's so cool! I've tinkered with it a few times before and felt overwhelmed with all the pieces. Years ago Lego used to have a similar software called Lego Digital Designer and I absolutely loved building all sorts of stuff in there.

I only briefly tried that one but it felt inferior to Studio. Was it the only option before Studio was available? And the Designer had some automated instruction generator, right? It took quite a lot of work to make a professionally looking booklet for a set I designed once so that would be handy :)

It was the only option before and yeah it automatically made an instruction booklet. Upon its initial release you could also share and order your own set too with custom box art on the Lego designbyme site. I remember it being quite expensive so I never got to order a custom set through it.

It also turns out that making Lego cars look cool is much easier than designing a buildable set. This one has a horrific mess of 1x1 plates inside that I want to sort out so I can physically build a version of this car sometime. 😂
