I designed a game for me and my little sister to play in the playpark today. We each picked a stick and put it on one of those bouncy stepping stones and jiggled it to see which stick would stay standing. Slowly other kids joined in. Everyone cheering at their stick to win.

I've been having some fun figuring out how Lego cars are designed by building one in Studio 2.0. Fun fact: Lego figured out that 6 studs wide was the best measurement to work with for Lego cars.

Sincerely delighted to discover, 45 minutes into this nearly-wordless three-hour documentary about French monks who take vows of silence, that among the reasons they can talk is "to make sure the monastery cats know when it's mealtime by making little kitty-calling noises at them."

You don't necessarily need to say "image of" in your alt text for users to know it's an image. Screen readers will announce that it's an image. But it can help readers to specify if it's a hand-drawn image, Polaroid, infographic, screenshot, chart, map, diagram, or so on.

I'm 25 today. The first half of my 20's has been hard, but I've also achieved so much. I finished my degree in the pandemic. I was awarded a scholarship to a games summer program. I freelanced, got my first industry job, got promoted. I've worked on 4 released game titles, AND post launch content. 🤯

If I have a task that requires me to get something in another room, I will hold an object in my hand until I have retrieved the other thing I need. For example running out of loo roll, I hold the empty tube in my hand until I've gone to the cupboard and got a new loo roll to replace it with.

2024 was a year of rest, recovery, and rediscovery for me. Lots of hobbies, therapy, music, journaling, reaching out to friends, spending time with family. Letting myself say no to some things and looking after myself. I made so much art, appreciated people more, and I feel so much better now. 😊
