@karma-chaos.bsky.social As of now, I paused for two or four months but I am currently reading Catechism of the Catholic Church for the sake of just finishing it and The Wish of Nicholas Sparks. 🙂
The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. I never thought a story about a building a cathedral could be so gripping. It also has some great antagonists that will frustrate you throughout the whole book.
The symbolism of the book got me confused the first time. It's only when I was having my own treasure dreams that I understood the book and why it is so famous. I felt extremely dumb to have missed the meaning the first time!! 😄
I like biographies and memoirs. Just finished "Sonny Boy" by Al Pacino. Currently reading Loretta Lynn's "Coal Miner's Daughter". Bill Clinton's "Citizen" arrives next week. 🙂
I don't think so. Borne's about a sentient blob figuring out its place in a dystopian future. It's by the guy who wrote Annihilation that was made into a film on Netflix.
Behave, Robert M. Sapolsky
You Like it Darker, Stephen King
The Body Keeps the Score, Bessel van der Kolk, M. D.
Becoming the Boogeyman, Richard Chizmar
And my psychology books for school.
'Johnny We Hardly Knew Ye' about President Kennedy. Highly recommended. In my opinion, the best book written about the President by those who were close by him at all times.
I know people might judge on this but I love Reacher. Been reading lots of self-help in last two years particularly around changing habits for the better and it’s just good fun
