The Goodison Legacy proposal was drawn up a long time ago by the previous regime - and it was just that - a proposal.

I think (and hope) that the new owners will probably be revisting every area of the club and reassessing the best way forwards. Some bits might stay, some might not 🤷‍♂️

There were really good things in there, and also the maintenance costs for Goodison will be pretty high. Walton Hall Park has a capacity of 2,200, is this a bottleneck? Because you're going to need to fill a lot more seats to make it a good idea.

I would absolutely love to see our women's team getting a boost like that, but I am also far too ignorant of the finances side of things (can we subsidise through PSR still?) to know whether it's a good idea. Gifting them a white elephant would be a bad choice.

I would imagine any move to Goodison Park would come with a revamp of the stadium, given one of the main problems with GP is that it haemorrhages revenue.

That way there would still be scope for some of the legacy project to go ahead too.

Something I've always said. Goodison should be knocked down build a non-league type ground on the footprint. Still leaves loads of room especially on Goodison Rd and the PE to redevelop.
