Hearing from multiple folks - mass layoffs at ASPR happening now. Emails going out *on a Saturday evening* to inform staff they’re being exited, nearly all probationary staff gone.

Layer upon layer of public health & safety eviserated by mump. When avian flu hits, we will be on par with Haiti in public health response. High mortality. No Federal Government left to respond. Military would be decimated if not vaxxed.
Yes...and the media, the public and Democrats have to be clear who is responsible for any failures in the health response to the next disaster: the Administration that gutted these programs.
Why doesn’t the chain of command just send out a counter email saying the people who sent the former email do not have the authority to do this without congressional action therefore you are all still on the job until Congress says otherwise.

We won't miss ASPR in years or decades -- we'll miss it in weeks or months.
