What's worse is this was a movie I picked. I had just seen season 1 of twin peaks. My dad just knew Lynch from Dune and he loves the lynch Dune movie so he was all in to watch more Lynch. We were so naive. I am forever haunted by my dad saying "jesus christ" during the first Frank scene.
