I think my next step with Meta is to contact the customer service of the businesses I bought from and clicked thru the photo carousels of their ads over the years - I refuse to click a single ad on Meta currently. I feel like the businesses paying for those ads should understand why.
I knew something was up over there a few months ago when I got an ad with intentionally upsetting content re: a hot button issue. I’m not naming the issue because I don’t want to be spammed. My ads are normally for beauty products, shoes, etc…then, THAT? I NAIVELY reported it as being inappropriate.
