I don't understand it. I'm literally breaking my neck to get my house on the market so we can move before the economy tanks, and everyone around me is going about their normal routine like nothing is happening or like something is just going to make it all magically disappear.

People don't grasp or keep up with what government does in good times! All I know to do is to keep talking about it. Keep putting what is happening out there. Highlight those who are courageously fighting back ... and those who are scared or suffering already because of this callous administration.

I'm listening because I'm not in the US. I have reached out to family members who see what's happening but do not seem alarmed. These are Black middle class folks who did their part during the election and are kinda saying "we been knew."
Demographics matter in this case.

The # of my friends/family alone! Before the election, a group of friends & I booked a cruise, which includes a brief stop in Canada. We recently met up to finalize details. RE Canada, I said, "If they will even let us disembark." I was met w/ blank stares, and "Why wouldn't they?!" Exasperating.
