Performance and model wise they’re the worst in the series
Story wise it was really fun
The gameplay was also really interesting since this is our first fully free roaming Pokemon game capable of going through any order
+ The core gameplay was fun
- There's no excuse for why it ran worse than BOTW as an open-world game
Naysayers may argue, but maybe if it's been 10 years since you enjoyed a game in the series it's time to move on?
Those numbers make me worried about the state of ZA.
besides, befriending the legendary is done better in the dlc.
SPOILERS
a crystalised underground lab building for some reason
a massive time machine
a life-like ai robot imaged after one or the other professor
and an invading army of pokemon from the future or past respectivly.
SV had a fantastic setting and story, but they definitely have their issues. There's no denying that.
Dual type Pokemon showed up wrong in battle. The game would claim Bulbasaur was weak to poison or Spearow resisting fighting. Those are neutral hits.
Toxic and Leech Seed had a weird interaction that caused LS's damage to increase with Toxic's poison.
Also, nice Teferi. Bane of my existence, but nice.
one of them was made after pokemon brought them in billions
i gave tsv a pass though.. bc once you got passed the tutorial that takes forever...
theres vibes.
a lot of vibes and moods.
but once you get to the desert? its gold.
The same fans learning them buying both versions led to this:
And its gameplay is really good maybe the powercreep is more noticeable than the previous games
BUT the game has a good vibe, a lot of the new Pokemon designs are top tier, and the story is one of if not the best in the series imo
It’s just a different way of saying you don’t like it.
facts are they weren't allowed to make a good game due to crunch -> it's not a good game
Playing BDSP now, loving it but feel it could be a bit... bigger? Love gen 4 so much
“Me when I’m so fucking awful at managing game development the elite four music didn’t even work before we started printing cartridges but we made 1 billion dollars doing it like this so who cares I guess”
