I'm totally serious when I say Hogwarts Legacy was the canary in the coal mine for just how little solidarity liberal "allies" will show marginalised people.

All they had to do was not buy a game that directly funded an aggressive transphobe and that was too big a sacrifice.

The mastodon instance i was originally on got shut down over this because the admin wouldn't back down when people yelled at him over it (his support for the game)
