(And I’m dreading this summer’s trip to TN to find the family cemetery that we are already aware is overgrown. We’re bringing lawn stuff AND shovels to help pull upright some stones… We recently located it on private property, so we are lucky…)

I'm of two minds here.

On the one hand, I love seeing native plantings, especially in urban areas.

As a genealogist, it is frustrating as hell wading through waist-high grass trying to find a 150yo headstone that is supposed to have perpetual care. #genealogy
