I went on a nice walk down to the river. 🌿 #nativeplants

Calling it Ch-ristmas from now on.

False panic here. I could just delete this 🧵, but instead will explain what I learned after speaking with a colleague who works there. This was a messaging error. The only policy change was no longer allowing buses and cars to drive up to the building. There is no change to research access.

Brad Lander: "I also need to thank some of the most important people in my life and on this campaign—I mean, of course, the NYT editorial board. Just kidding, of course: I love Wordle and Connections, but I really urge the Times to cancel their new feature 'Editorial Riddles.' No one likes those."

The peony CSA was a good idea 🌱

lol what happened here

Just saw a woman on the sidewalk blitz past a Cuomo canvasser talking about “I can’t vote here! I’m from Genovia!” He was like “Oh okay, have a good day.” And then he tried to stop a woman going in the other direction, and she goes “Nope. Also Genovia.” 😂🍐👑

A new butterfly in my garden, the Great Spangled Fritillary. The caterpillars will hatch this summer, then spend winter sleeping in the leaf litter under the violets they need to eat next spring. #butterflies #NationalPollinatorWeek #gardening 🌱 🦋

I don't feel well tonight. Did I eat too much? Maybe I ate too much. OH RIGHT, THE US JUST BOMBED IRAN. THAT'S WHY I FEEL NAUSEOUS.

HALLELUJAH THEY FLEDGED!!! had to commemorate their mom’s hard work before I cleaned it up and got the AC cranking (thank god, I was melting)

My happy place.

The bad news has to do with summer luggage and a hot car but the good news is I now have ONE GIANT GUMMY VITAMIN

The world is a stressful place, but the Abare Festival--colloquially known as the Fire and Violence Festival--in Noto, Japan, is very silly. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abare_F...

Somebody followed me on Instagram and liked twenty of my most recent photos, and my first thought was that they must be doing a @gamechangershow.bsky.social prompt.
