Nope! I'm saying that 44yrs on from the riot between Celtic/Rangers fans, alcohol is still unlikely to be sold at football matches whilst a violence mentality still exists between an element of both sets of supporters. 👍

Shameful scenes in the city centre last Sunday. However the same nonsense went on with the young fans of Livingston and Patrick Thistle on the same weekend.

Would the same scenes have happened at these two fixtures if all the rest of us were allowed to buy a pint at our local stadium?

I disagree. Could trial the re-introduction at any level. Exclude certain fixtures if necessary.

Compare incidents pre and post allowing alcohol consumption in grounds.

Keeping it banned for everyone because of a riot 44 years is draconian.

Hence top flight. I am happy for lower league teams and maybe everyone but the old firm. When these guys win something they trash Glasgow. Let’s do it in stages and let them earn it. Btw I hear rugby games can sometimes be a problem these days.

A number of lower league clubs are struggling for cash & 2 are in administration - may be more by season end.

Allowing alcohol sales on the concourses may increase revenue and attendances.

Also not a fan of just blaming everything on those two rather than looking at solutions or ways to progress

Should be used as an incentive to improve fan behaviour by approving sale of alcohol in grounds and when fans step out of line, license is revoked for a period of time. It's just doesn't make any sense for a blanket ban across the country.
