I figure they wanted to compile all the novellas together and skipped the novel length one since it's longer but it also is rubbing my brain wrong.

I read Fugitive Telemetry last week & figured "this is Murderbot recounting something else that happened so it could take a breather between vol 5 & 7"

I've heard this is what someone from Tor said on Instagram. Collecting the novel into the novellas, from a length perspective, would be a little ponderous and I think swing the needle too far. Would be nice if it had a re-release alongside them, though.
